The District RAWCS Committee meets quarterly and welcomes anyone wishing to know more about RAWCS. The committee also has people who are able to come and talk to your Club about RAWCS in general or a specific project.

At Hexham Bowling Club They serve a great Chinese or Australian meal if you want to get there early 6.30 pm and we start our meeting at 7.30 pm to finish at 8.30 pm



DONATIONS IN KIND (DIK) 

 

Donations in Kind (DIK) is a program supported by Rotary Clubs in Australia which grew out of the compassion and concern of returning overseas volunteers.

The program involves the collection, sorting, packing, dispatch and distribution of donated items to communities in need of these goods, within Australia and overseas.

ROTARIANS AGAINST MALARIA (RAM)  

Rotarians Against Malaria in Australia (RAM) work to achieve the following objective: “The prevention of mortality, and a reduction in morbidity and social and economic loss caused by malaria through a progressive improvement and strengthening of local and national capabilities in malaria control.”

RAM Australia’s web site is at http://www.ramaustralia.org is well worth visiting. The National Chair, Ian Sayers, posts his newsletters there under the tab “Newsletter"
