The Rotary Club of Raymond Terrace has conducted the Pride of Workmanship Awards for at least the last 20 years, recognising hundreds of employees and providing employers with an opportunity to publicly recognise those employees for their efforts.

Rotary believes the sense of responsibility to do a job well, to strive for excellence of service and to give of oneself to their chosen vocation is one of the greatest intangible resources yet to be fully recognised in our working community.
Recognition and awareness is the purpose of the Award and promoting the Pride of Workmanship theme “Do it once – do it well”.
At the Pride of Workmanship Awards Dinner held on 8 April 2019, the following recipients were recognised:  Sgt Joe Krzanic – NSW Police Force;  Damien Wilson – Woolworths Raymond Terrace North (Market Place);  Hannah Rodway – Medowie Macadamia Farm;   Jane Withers – TLC Early Learning Centre.
Our special Guest Speaker was Jon Chin, Ambassador for White Ribbon and Chairman of Hunter White Ribbon.  Jon spoke about the need for awareness of domestic violence.  Raymond Terrace Rotary is currently focusing on helping victims of domestic violence in our local community.  Sincere thanks to Past
President Richard South for his excellent organisation of a very successful evening.
