On Saturday 15th May 2021, the Rotary Clubs of Cardiff and Wallsend-Maryland combined their resources to help support NSW Fire & Rescue, at their annual Community Open Day.
The clubs supported the Cardiff Fire & Rescue station 251 and Minmi Fire and Rescue station 377.
The day was full of community activities and activities for children.
The Firies answered questions from curious minds big and small, and even a few Rotarians enjoyed having a go with the fire hose.
The Rotary Clubs of Cardiff and Wallsend-Maryland are proud to continue their ongoing collaboration together to support the local community.
The Rotary clubs are proud of our fire and rescue workers, who do an amazing job all year round, on top of the superhuman feats we see during the fire season, and look forward to support them again in the future.
